- Go to your RunCloud Dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Navigate to Web Application > Create Web App.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose the server you want to host multiple websites on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the appropriate stack (Nginx or Nginx + Apache Hybrid).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enter your domain name (e.g., example.com).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select a system user (each site should ideally have its own user for security).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Configure PHP settings if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click Create Web App.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
To host multiple websites, repeat the steps for each additional website. RunCloud handles virtual hosts automatically. Make sure that each domain’s A record IP points to the server IP. After creating each web application, you will have individual options for firewall settings, file management, and backup configuration. Additionally, you can assign a separate system user or SFTP user for each web app if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to create a new system user, please follow the steps given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Go to the server and click on \u2018System User\u2019 in the left menu bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Click on the button\u2018Add New System User\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Enter the username and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Click on Save System User.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can choose the system user while creating the webapp. You can also change the existing webapp user to a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Go to the Web Application and click on the ‘Tools’ menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Click on ‘Change Ownership’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Select the desired user from the drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Click on the ‘Update Web Application Owner’ button.
You can have a separate custom Nginx config as well as a PHP-FPM config for each web application. In order to add a custom nginx config, go to the Web Application > Nginx Config > Add a New Config.
