The HAProxy application will share the workload with multiple servers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps for Installation and Configuring\u00a0 HAProxy<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>===========<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Before proceeding with the installation of\u00a0 HAProxy in the server, we need to install the epel repository on our system depending on the operating system version using the following command.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nCentOS\/RHEL 6 , 32 bit:<br \/>\n<em>rpm -Uvh http:\/\/dl.fedoraproject.org\/pub\/epel\/6\/i386\/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm<\/em><\/p>\n<p>CentOS\/RHEL 6 , 64 bit:<br \/>\n<em>rpm -Uvh http:\/\/dl.fedoraproject.org\/pub\/epel\/6\/x86_64\/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>. Install HAProxy using Yum<\/p>\n<p>yum install haproxy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Configure HAProxy<\/p>\n<p>The configuration file of haproxy is\u00a0 \/etc\/haproxy\/haproxy.cfg and modify the configuration file as per our requirement.<\/p>\n<p><em>vi \/etc\/haproxy\/haproxy.cfg global<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>log 127.0.0.1 local0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>log 127.0.0.1 local1 debug<\/em><br \/>\n<em>maxconn 45000 # Total Max Connections.
