Sometime you will get the following error message while trying to delete an email account from your cpanel.<\/div>\n

The e-mail address postmaster@domain.com deleted successfully.<\/span>
\n Sorry, you do not have access to the domain<\/span> domain.com<\/span><\/a>
\n=================================================
\n<\/strong><\/div>\n
This mainly occur in two cases.<\/div>\n
1. when one domain is changed from add-on domain to main domain or vice-versa.<\/div>\n
2. Domain is moved to another users account.<\/div>\n
In this case you need to remove the email account from the existing account.<\/div>\n

\nSteps:-<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\n

1. Remove the entries from the following files. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\/home\/user\/etc\/domainname.tld\/passwd<\/span>
\n \/home\/user\/etc\/domainname.tld\/shadow<\/span>
\n \/home\/user\/.cpanel\/email_accounts.yaml<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Remove the directory<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n


\n \/home\/user\/mail\/<\/span>domain.com<\/span><\/a>
\n<\/strong><\/div>\n
Where ‘user’ is the account where the email address of ‘domain.com’ exist.<\/div>\n
